Tilt and rotate method
The tilt/turn method is a pallet exchange solution where the load is stable and can be safely turned in a controlled manner. During the process, the load is secured and then tilted or turned, allowing the source pallet to be removed and replaced with a new one (e.g., plastic or aluminum). This method is often chosen when you need to repeatedly change pallets and want to maintain orderly pallet flow in a warehouse or production environment. When this method makes the most sense:
- Loads with good stability that can be turned/tilted without the risk of spillage,
- Processes where pallet changes need to be repeated and integrated into the material flow,
- Areas with hygiene requirements, when you need to switch from a wooden pallet to a hygienic one.
